Meet the team behind NoMa Warehouse

About
NoMa Warehouse

At NoMa Warehouse our mission is creating community. By offering dedicated time and space, our goal is to inspire creative work and opportunity. We bring together creators, makers, collectors, and storytellers to cultivate a rich and diverse community of friends and supporters. We believe we are better together.

Mazie Cook

Founder | Creative Director

Inspired by Andy Warhol’s, The Factory, Mazie wanted to create an artist co-op that reinvents how art is defined, made, and shared. An arist herself, Mazie thrives in a fun and funky atmosphere and plans to cultivate that vibe at NoMa Warehouse.

When she’s not working, she’s loving on her 6 month old son, Woody, and husband Patrick. You’ll most likely find Mazie jamming to live tunes while sipping an IPA. She’s always up for a cheers and a chat so if you see her around, say hey!

Beth Lawson

Executive Director

As NoMa Warehouse’s Executive Director, Beth is in charge of making sure all the things get done. She is a master list maker and task checker-offer. She loves to travel, drink coffee, hang out, and laugh with her husband of 23 years, Aaron, and she really wishes she lived within walking distance to everything because driving is not her jam.

Beth worked in the tech sector for 24 years and is excited to bring her experience in business development and strategy to NoMa Warehouse.

Cara Lawson

Finance Director

Cara is currently a senior at UofSC’s Darla Moore School of Business where she is studying Economics and Finance with a concentration in Data Analytics. She will be managing the moolah at NoMa Warehouse and will also serve as the Director of Retail Management and Merchandising.

Adventure is in her heart, so Cara is always down for a spontaneous trip to do something exciting, and she’ll bring the music! Cara loves Gamecock Football, her sorority, ADPi, and hanging with her nephew, Woody!

Definitely drop by the Shop at NoMa Warehouse and get to know Cara!
